Joyson Electronics has been recognized as an Outstanding Case in Biodiversity Conservation at the 2026 520 Social Responsibility Day Sustainable Development Outstanding Case Awards, in recognition of the company’s forward-looking approach and practical efforts in biodiversity protection.

As an influential corporate social responsibility initiative in China, 520 Social Responsibility Day has continued to identify and promote outstanding corporate responsibility practices since its launch in 2017. The recognition highlights Joyson Electronics’ continued progress in integrating biodiversity considerations into corporate strategy and sustainability management.

As global attention to biodiversity conservation and nature-related risks continues to grow, the relationship between business and nature is shifting from resource dependency toward coexistence and shared value creation. As an important participant in the global automotive value chain, Joyson Electronics has continued to embed nature conservation into its corporate development strategy. The company is taking a more systematic and science-based approach to identifying, assessing and managing nature-related risks, while strengthening its ability to grow in harmony with natural ecosystems.

In March 2025, Joyson Electronics became the first company in China’s auto parts industry to support the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), marking an important step in nature-related governance and disclosure. Based on the TNFD recommendations and the LEAP approach, the company conducted its first systematic review of the connections between its operations, upstream supply chain and nature. This process helped identify material nature-related locations, assess nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities, and gradually integrate these topics into corporate governance, strategic planning and value chain management. These efforts provide a scientific basis for the company’s biodiversity conservation actions.

At the same time, Joyson Electronics has further enhanced its long-term sustainability strategy by making “Low Carbon and Nature” an important strategic pillar. Following the action pathway of Avoid, Reduce, Regenerate and Restore, and Transform, the company continues to advance nature-related management practices and work with value chain partners to support biodiversity conservation and the sustainable development of ecosystems.

This recognition not only affirms Joyson Electronics’ active exploration in biodiversity protection, but also reflects the progress the company has made through its long-term commitment to sustainable development.
