On July 17, 2026, the 2026 Stockstar ESG Annual Seminar and 4th ESG New Benchmark Enterprise Awards Ceremony was held in Shanghai under the theme of “Innovation, Collaborative Governance and Long-term Progress.” Joyson Electronics received the ESG Green Supply Chain Leadership Award in recognition of its systematic practices in green supply chain management and low-carbon operations. This marks the third consecutive year that the company has received this honor.

The awards are organized by Stockstar in collaboration with China Securities Index. Since their launch in 2023, the ESG New Benchmark Enterprise Awards have been held for four consecutive years. This year’s evaluation was based on four weighted dimensions: environment (35%), social responsibility (30%), governance (25%) and ESG leadership (10%). The judging panel included senior ESG experts, scholars and representatives from investment institutions. Closing the Loop on Emissions Reduction, from Solar Power to Circular Logistics

Joyson Electronics has embedded green principles across its supply chain operations. According to its 2025 Sustainability Report, the company used 248,089.73 MWh of renewable energy in 2025, accounting for 33.91% of total annual energy consumption and representing a 27.11% increase from 2024. This helped reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 102,135.34 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent.

In green manufacturing, 23 production sites operated with 100% clean electricity, 10 production sites achieved operational carbon neutrality, and 14 factories had on-site solar power generation capacity, generating 25,180.19 MWh of electricity during the year. In addition, 18 factories obtained ISO 50001 Energy Management System certification, and 100% of production sites obtained ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification. The company’s Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions intensity decreased to 3.37 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent per RMB million of revenue, down 6.60% year on year. Joyson Electronics has also committed to achieving carbon neutrality across its core operations by 2040. In 2025, the company invested RMB 62.05 million in environmental protection and recorded no major environmental violations.

In logistics, Joyson Electronics has taken a range of measures to reduce the carbon footprint of its supply chain, including optimizing transport routes, replacing air freight with rail transport where feasible, upgrading to lower-emission transport vehicles and improving container loading efficiency. Across Joyson Safety Systems Asia, the cumulative use of reusable containers reached approximately 10 million trips, while reusable pallets were used 420,000 times. These efforts were equivalent to reducing the consumption of approximately 9,000 tonnes of corrugated paper and 5,000 tonnes of wood, demonstrating how circular packaging can support supply chain decarbonization.

Building a Responsible Value Chain

Joyson Electronics also integrates social responsibility into supply chain management. Environmental, human rights, labor and business ethics requirements are embedded across the full lifecycle of supplier management.

Joyson Electronics continues to strengthen talent development and innovation. In 2025, the company invested RMB 4.418 billion in R&D, accounting for 7.22% of revenue. It had 5,895 R&D employees worldwide and held approximately 3,500 valid patents. Since the establishment of the Joyson Care Fund, the company has raised more than RMB 2.9 million and supported around 500 employees facing financial difficulties. Joyson Electronics has also joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and committed to upholding the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, extending its social responsibility efforts from internal operations to the global supply chain ecosystem.

Four-tier ESG Governance Supports Low-carbon Supply Chain Transformation

Joyson Electronics has established a four-tier ESG governance structure comprising the Board of Directors, the Strategy and ESG Committee, the ESG Working Group and a dedicated sustainability department, integrating sustainability management into business decision-making. Independent directors account for 40% of the Board, and business ethics training coverage was close to 100%. During the reporting period, the company recorded no major violations. Its Sustainability Report received limited assurance from SGS in accordance with the ISAE 3000 assurance standard.

As China enters a new stage of development under the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Joyson Electronics will continue to follow its sustainability framework built around Low Carbon and Nature, Technology and Safety, Co-creation and Win-win, and Compliance and Ethics. The company will work with upstream and downstream partners across the value chain to accelerate the clean energy transition and build a greener, more responsible and more resilient supply chain.
